The air conditioning worked fine, providing a much-needed cool breeze in the sweltering Texas heat. The location, right off the highway, offered easy access for a quick stop during a long drive.

The room reeked of stale smoke, and the carpet felt like it hadn't seen a good cleaning in years. The bedding gave off a dingy vibe, with sagging mattresses and sheets that felt cheap. There were disturbing signs of past tenants, including dark stains on the bedspread and some wear and tear apparent throughout the room. The TV had questionable channels available upon turning it on, which raised some eyebrows.

I have stayed in many motels before and therefore can certainly say that this is a

great option in George West. The cleanliness is impressive, right down to the baseboards. The owner and staff treated us like family. Just remember to bring your own soap, as the provided ones are quite tiny.

I almost considered giving this worn-out place a decent review, but the sheets looked dirty and the entire room smelled of stale smoke. I expected a little pampering or at least clean linens for my stay. What a shame, Luxury Inn, you woudl ve been so much better with just some basic cleanliness and hospitality. Not impressed!

The room at Luxury Inn stood out for its cleanliness, especially the baseboards, which were impressively maintained. A flat-screen TV with a decent cable selection kept me entertained, and the microwave and refrigerator offered great convenience, making it easy to enjoy snacks. The owner, Mike, truly treated me like family, showing genuine concern when my truck's AC went out. However, the air conditioning unit in my room had a few quirks, and it took a while for it to cool down fully. Not having breakfast on-site was a slight letdown, yet the money saved compared to other local hotels was significant. For those staying here, I'd recommend bringing your own soap as the provided options are quite small. Overall, the experience was positive, but little touches could elevate the stay significantly.

Stayed for a night while fishing on the Nueces River. Clean room, comfy beds. A fridge that worked great for my catch. A little rough around the edges, but still better than expected for the price. Just bring your own soap!

Our group had an awesome time! The rooms were super clean, and the owner was really nice. We visited the local river and a nearby park, which made for fun adventures. I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for comfort and a cozy vibe on their trip.

One of my friends did notice some minor cleanliness issues with bed linens that needed attention, but overall it didn’t ruin our experience.
